Bathroom trends for 2021
01/2021“Less is more” is all the rage in 2021 as far as decoration is concerned. This year is an opportunity to focus on well-being at home. It comes as no surprise, then, that light shades like beige, grey and white are prominent. The spectrum is broadened, however, to include bold touches such as metallic finishes on tapware and accessories, and dominant tones on walls, furniture and textiles. That is what the bathrooms of 2021 have in stall for us.
Double washbasins
Although they will not fit into all bathrooms, if there is space, having two washbasins is not only more practical, it is also the latest trend. It is the perfect solution for households with numerous members.
Clear atmospheres with basic lines
White never goes out of fashion, but now it
moves into a supporting role as a base for applying other materials that bring
contrast; without, however, going to excess. Geometrical patterns in coatings
and walls with pleasant colours (especially greens and light blues) are trending.
Both furniture and tapware will have simple outlines, never overbearing, and
will play off the accessories to give life to the bathroom. The clear and clean
appearance is based on the need for a more orderly and comfortable vision of
the space. Tapware such as study exclusive and
project-tres are examples of what can be applied to
these new bathrooms.
