Tapware with character
Right now, tapware has come to play an essential role in the interior design of a bathroom. Decorators and interior designers alike pay great attention to the appearance - and functionality - of tapware as a major element of the room. An important premise for creating renovated spaces is to look for accessories which bring character and mark a differentiating personality, offering that decisive extra design touch both for new construction projects and for renovation. Following this trend towards exclusivity, TRES includes a wide variety of finishes which give its tapware great character and distinction.
An industrialized and artisan process for the best results.

In order to create all the finishes TRES offers, a process is required that ensures quality and durability. This process has been industrialized to obtain a perfect finish for each piece. In addition, all these pieces are inspected and completed by hand to ensure excellence.

After thoroughly cleaning each piece, the surface of the tap is prepared for nickel plating; for shiny metal finishes (chrome, gold and metallic black), the finish is applied via electrolysis. If the finish has a brushed look, this step is performed first to obtain the characteristic shading. For brass finishes (shiny or matte) and matte gold, once the previous processes have been finished, a clear shiny or matter varnish is applied that not only gives it the desired texture, since it is epoxy varnish, it also protects the tap from corrosion.

For colored taps, the process is more artisan. Each tap is created individually, and by hand. The chosen paint is applied with an electrolysis gun in a way that is environmentally-friendly and without any solvents. For color + chrome combinations, the product is first chrome-plated according to the usual procedure and then the chromed parts that must be painted are separated, so that the paint adheres properly.
